Security Center and Security Agent

Security Center Essentials V1 is now live for all Salesforce users. It provides a baseline security dashboard, key health metrics, best practice guidance, and limited alerting, enabling organizations to improve their security posture without requiring a full Security Center license.

Salesforce is shifting from silent Product Defense containment actions to a transparent notification system. Security users will access detailed updates via a "Response Log" in Security Center, while Security Agent will surface these actions directly within its Investigation page.

WHAT

Development is underway for Custom Playbooks, user-defined instructions allowing the Security Agent to manage security anomalies. We are piloting an AI-driven build process where Engineering leverages Claude/Cursor to code from rough UX/PM mocks and SLDS2 documentation, aiming to deliver a near-finished product requiring only minor polish.
