What

A push-model onboarding flow that lets Salesforce admins and Tableau Next (TN) Creator-licensed users activate TN directly from a Salesforce Record Home page.

Problem

Customers struggle to turn their Salesforce data into a Tableau Next dashboard without navigating complex manual setup and underlying data joins.

Steps taken

We ran a research study with 16 ppts and iterated on the design of the setup experience.

Easy Setup

What & Why

Easy Setup eliminates 800+ clicks across Salesforce, Data Cloud, and Tableau Next into a few clicks of 4-step process to accelerate time-to-value and prevent product abandonment. Steps Taken & Progress: Partnered with SF Go, architecture, dev, PM, and UX to ship automatic D360 provisioning in 262, improved data load/security in 264, and aligned on a 266 vision.

Easy Admin

What & Why

Easy Admin consolidates fragmented setup interfaces across 3 platforms (SF, DC, Tab Next) into one agentic, unified console within Tab Next, reducing complexity to prevent “shelfware” and improve time to value. Steps Taken & Progress: Defined the Admin Home and integrated Agentforce. Phase 1 dev is underway, introducing Quick Actions and a dedicated Setup for streamlined admin access.
