Agent Command Center

What

A centralized hub for Analysts to monitor, manage, and govern all analytics assets and AI agents.

Why

Currently, pipeline failures are discovered after BUs complain, and they can’t tell which assets are trending or stagnant. And for agents, there is no visibility into how they are using their semantic models, why responses are poor, and usage metrics are scattered across disconnected systems.

Steps taken

Design in figma, prototype with claude and git hooked up with LWC and SLDS, dev builds in parallel, rapid testing sessions held for quick feedback, UX actively works in code for fit and finish.

Current status

Dreamforce GA, continuing UX improvements and feature additions.

Next up

Another round of research, refining PM/UX/Dev process with AI.

Analyst Command Center RITE

What

Using the Rapid Iterative Testing Evaluation (RITE) method allowed us to evaluate a baseline, quickly iterate on designs, and retest updates in following rounds.

Why

Fast research was required because the Tableau Innovation Program is a 9-week initiative where cross-functional teams build and iterate on agentic AI-powered product features using working code. The team needed to quickly evaluate if the concept supported analyst JTBD. How: 12 business days from testing to insights delivered; June 25 - July 10th w/mix of Tableau Next users & customer zero users.
