Digital Wallet Application Evolution

Digital Wallet is growing from being a single tab in the Your Account app to a standalone app. To support this growth we’re adding a Home page, and a sidebar navigation (based on the new Data 360 navigation) to enable future growth.

To date the Digital Wallet has been limited to a single tenant and it’s sandboxes/scratch orgs. Many customers have multiple tenants, and have to ‘swivel chair’ between tenants to fully understand their consumption.

Multi-tenant support will allow customers to create a single federated view of their consumption across the tenants they care about in one place.

From the early days of the Digital Wallet and consumption-based pricing, customers have wanted the ability to apply budgets within their orgs. By leveraging standard and custom tagging the Digital Wallet will enabled customer budgeting, forecasting, and alerting.
