Why this work is important
Enables Data 360 team to prototype with production-grade, Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS)-compliant patterns — accelerating design exploration and reducing engineering handoff friction.
The problem this work will solve
Teams building Data 360 prototypes from scratch in inconsistent technologies (React, custom code), creating design debt, duplicated effort, and prototypes that don't port cleanly to production.
Steps taken to get there
Evaluation of a need for a starter kit rapidly enable Data 360 vibe prototyping pods. Collaboration with UX Foundations and Data 360 engineering to ensure alignment in our approach. Ongoing process and skill improvements to the starter kit as adoption grows.
Current status
Build/In Progress — Live with Storybook (see next slide) and active contributors. Release August 14th. Next upAnnounce V1, continue quality improvements, expand component library, scale adoption across D360 teams.
